Data Explorer starts test phase

The SYMOBIO Data Explorer is an interactive, web-based tool for the exploration and visualization of the environmental footprints of the German bio-economy. The database currently builds on the “Pilot Report on Monitoring the German Bioeconomy“, which was produced as part of the first phase of the BMBF project SYMOBIO.

The data explorer is aimed at decision-makers, educational institutions and civil society. Objective is to provide low-threshold access to the extensive datasets of the SYMOBIO project. In the context of the currently running second project phase, the tool will be further developed e.g. by integrating new monitoring data. The project team highly welcomes feedback and suggestions for the further development of the tool.
